Goodell wants HGH tests in next NFL labor deal:Woodlawn, Maryland - Commissioner Roger Goodell said the NFL will insist that the next labor deal

with players to test human growth hormone.

After appearing on Monday with U.S. Rep. Cummings. Elijah in a school to talk about the dangers of

steroid use, said Goodell NFL should do more to keep illegal drugs out of sport.

HGH use is prohibited by the NFL, but the league does not currently test for it. Goodell said he

thinks players "recognize the importance of" testing add HGH.

When a student asked why there are more drugs in baseball to football, Goodell replied: "I'm not

sure that's true."

Cummings said he spoke briefly about the blocking of the NFL Goodell. Cummings hopes Congress will

not have to get involved.
