If you are lucky enough to have tickets for today's men's Frozen Four semifinal between Minnesota Duluth and Notre Dame, you are either:
1. Planned way forward, confident in the success of a bulldog, and bought tickets to events at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, essentially sold out in July.
2. High enough for a ticket UMD season list to receive one of only 600 tickets the school received a divide among loyal fans.
3. Forked a lot of money for an operation ticket resale or speculator.
If you do not have tickets on hand, but still want to be there personally, be prepared to pay double, triple or even quadruple the face value of $ 200.
Prices on Craigslist and secondary sales sites south as stubhub.com, usasports.com and ticketturbo.com started at about $ 300 for games and $ 500 for both Thursday and Saturday ticket packages.
But it was the cheapest seats, standing-room-only hinder vision. Lower level, center ice tickets were sold at higher than $ 1200 every Wednesday.
Each of the four schools in the frozen four received 600 tickets for its fans. UMD officials have sold their allocation for several hours, resulting in many Bulldog fans in the lurch.
"Our phones started ringing cash before our team left Bridgeport, Conn., where the Bulldogs won a regional playoff," said Bill Wade, UMD Provost for University Relations. "All tickets have been sold on the first day after receiving them. It is a pity that we have not been allocated 6,000 tickets, as Bulldog fans have made quick work of them."
If the $ 1200 ticket is too rich for your blood and you still want to see the game, the only option is to find a TV with ESPN 2 (Charter and Hermantown / Proctor channel 35) and settle in the 4 pm start. The game also will be broadcast on 94X FM radio in Duluth, KQ 105,5 in Grand Rapids and Co 106.7 in Ely / Virginia. And it's available on www.espn3.com in streaming video. Saturday 6 pm championship game televised on ESPN.

Michigan St. Party starts at 3:00 with food and drink, with the game shown on a big screen TV and several smaller sets.
