Westboro Baptist Church uses iPhone to announce protest at Steve Jobs’s funeral


Westboro Baptist Church announced plans on Wednesday evening to protest the funeral of Steve Jobs, send a message from ... wait ... via Twitter for iPhone.

Margie Phelps, daughter of the founder of the small church and a lawyer who represented the Church during their first case of an amendment to the Supreme Court (who Westboro won) was one of the members of the Phelps family use Apple products, Tweet about the death of Apple co-founder.

Topeka, Kansas based Church consists mainly of family members, but Phelps grew to international shame because of their protests the funerals of celebrities and American soldiers. Church members believe that God punished America for its tolerance to sin, including acceptance of homosexuality.

IPhone owning Westboro members seemed unable to find any irony in its embrace of human technology, which they condemn. One of the members of the Church even suggested that God used to help advance Jobs message to Westboro Baptist Church: "God be Steve Jobs create amazing things for the WBC to preach," writes Shirley Phelps-Roper.
