Scherzinger, Jones not returning to 'The X Factor'

Los Angeles --- Steve Jones and Nicole Scherzinger, two of the people who helped start “The X Factor” in the United States, will not be sticking around for season two of the singing competition, the Fox network said Monday.

Jones, a British television presenter, called his departure "a shame" twitter, and added that he could not complain, "How I had a great time." He gave no reason why he did notreturn to the contest of singing.

Jones was originally slated to host «X Factor» with
Nicole Scherzinger, who replaced the British pop star Cheryl Cole, as a judge, when Simon Cowell executive producer and other producers of second thoughts about Cole to join the series.

Cowell, Paula Abdul and L.A. Reid served as the other judges on the show in the first season.

Despite a consistent audience «X Factor» achieved popularity like «American Idol,»Cowell who left for the import of «X Factor» UK to the U.S.

The network did not make any announcements about replacements, but it has no particular reason to hurry: “The X Factor” is not expected to be back on Fox’s schedule until the fall.
