New Orleans - Actress who played Elly May Clampett on "Beverly Hills" located his claim on a Barbie doll that uses the character's name and likeness.
Actress Donna Douglas's lawyer says she moved to CBS and Mattel toys on Tuesday. The lawsuit sought to Douglas at least $ 75,000. Information about the settlement is confidential.
Douglas played the creature-loving tomboy for all nine seasons on CBS comedy backwoods family that strikes oil and moves to Beverly Hills.
She claimed, CBS Consumer Products and Mattel, Inc., Inc. needed her permission to Barbie. In court papers, CBS and Mattel said they did not need her well, because the network has exclusive rights to the character.
